RELSO offers the following limited warranty:

Coverage

Even when fate throws us a curveball, we’ve got your back. Should an issue arise with your RELSO piece, our one-year limited warranty is here to help.
Coverage at a glance

  • Duration: All RELSO parts and products are covered for one (1) year.
  • Exclusions: Items used in commercial, contract, rental, institutional, or any other non-residential setting, Products not cared for according to the maintenance guidelines provided by RELSO and the selling retailer, Damage caused by improper assembly by the buyer and Normal wear and tear.
  • Specific materials: Upholstery, natural wood, metal, and stone items all carry the same one-year warranty.

How to make a claim

This warranty is administered exclusively by the retailer from whom you purchased the item. If you, the original consumer (the “Buyer”), need assistance, please contact that retailer directly; they will coordinate with RELSO on your behalf.

Upholstery & Fabric Warranty

RELSO guarantees its upholstery and fabrics against defects in materials or craftsmanship for one (1) year from the purchase date. If a defect is confirmed, RELSO may choose to repair or replace the affected furniture. Coverage includes seam failures, fabric separation, and nap loss. The warranty does not cover pilling, fading, stretching, cuts or tears, discoloration, or sagging.

Wood, Metal, Glass & Stone Product Warranty

RELSO assures the original purchaser that, for one (1) year from the purchase date, it will—at its sole discretion—repair or replace any furniture deemed defective in materials or craftsmanship.

Please note that natural characteristics such as grain variations, slight wrinkles, and similar markings are inherent and not considered defects. Likewise, every stone or marble piece is unique, so variations in color and dimensions are normal and to be expected.

Warranty Service Procedure

If a covered defect causes a RELSO product or component to fail within one year of delivery, return the item or part to the retailer along with the original sales receipt; the retailer will verify the purchase details and file the warranty claim. To support the claim, the retailer must provide one photo showing the whole product and several close-up photos of the defective area from different angles. RELSO will then decide whether the problem is covered and will, at its discretion, arrange in-home repair, replace the item with the same model, or substitute a comparably valued product if the original is no longer available. The retailer must cooperate fully during verification, and if the retailer has a valid claim but is no longer in business, the original purchaser may contact RELSO directly. Cash refunds are not offered under this warranty.

Exclusions

To keep this warranty in force, you must use and maintain your RELSO furniture properly. The warranty becomes void—and therefore does not apply—if the product is assembled, maintained, or used incorrectly; if detergents, abrasives, or other harsh cleaners are applied; if the piece shows excessive soiling, improper cleaning, misuse, or exposure to chemicals; if damage results from negligence, abuse, everyday wear, accidents such as burns, cuts, scratches, scuffs, watermarks, indentations, or pet activity; if the item has been modified by anyone other than RELSO or without RELSO’s authorization; if it was sold as a floor sample or “as-is,” or discounted or partially refunded to keep; if a claim is based on buyer’s remorse; if harm occurs during transportation, assembly, or maintenance; if any unauthorised repair or tampering is attempted; or if the product is used in commercial, rental, institutional, or any other non-residential setting—this warranty is strictly for residential use.

Costs associated with transportation, packaging, delivery, or freight are not included, although RELSO may choose, at its own discretion, to cover them. The warranty applies only to furniture used under normal household conditions by the original purchaser and cared for according to RELSO’s instructions; if a retailer’s guidance conflicts with RELSO’s, the RELSO directions prevail, and disregarding them voids the warranty. Any neglect or abuse similarly cancels coverage.

Neither the retailer nor RELSO will be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—for example, harm to other property or personal injury to the buyer or third parties. The warranties provided here are exclusive and replace all other oral or written warranties, express or implied. No one, including RELSO employees or agents, is authorized to expand these obligations beyond what is stated. An item repaired or replaced under this warranty remains covered only for the balance of the original warranty period.
